Germany: Circles

Circles is a basic income system that works in vibrant communities where people and businesses are willing to leverage a complementary currency.

Circles (CRC) is an alternative currency that allows communities to give each other a basic income. The value and use of the basic income one can get with Circles depends on the community that uses it.

For Circles to work, it needs a strong community and active engagement to add value to the system by offering goods and services in exchange for CRC. At first it may be more of a show of solidarity, but over time, by strengthening the community, Circles can grow into a stable alternative economy that provides a basic income for everyone in that community.
